St Mary's Court / Cumberland House

In 2008, McIntyre Electrical installed new door entry systems and security doors to 14 blocks of flats at the St. Marys Court site in Peterborough. In total, at the site, there where 13 low rise blocks which housed 6 flats and one high rise block, Cumberland House, which houses 86 flats.

The door entry systems installed comprised of Entrotec digital audio systems with TDSI access control fobs. The access control is remotely managed by a central PC in our office which allows the following:

• Fobs to be added and deleted within a matter of minutes
• Doors are able to be remotely opened
• Security details of time and dates for fob usage

Along with the new door entry systems, each block had a landlord’s electrical upgrade which included a new consumer unit and full NICEIC inspection and test.

The new doors which were installed at St. Marys Court are high security wooden doors which included two electromagnetic locks with a holding force of 600lbs each.

On the high rise block, Cumberland House, two new automatic sliding doors were installed to take into consideration DDA compliance.

Along side the new door entry systems, we installed two new pedestrian gates which also had TDSI access control systems linked to them.

St. Marys Court is also served by eight car park gates; McIntyre Electrical installed eight new automatic car park gates complete with TDSI access control systems and remote fobs linked to the gates.

McIntyre Electrical also service and maintain all the fire alarm, door entry, access control and gates at St Marys Court on a 5 year Service Contract.
