Works description: Testing & remedial works. Electrical, Fire Alarm, CCTV & Door Entry Responsive Repair

We are currently working on a five year Testing & Repairs programme for Derwent Living. We are the main electrical contractor carrying out 80 periodic NICEIC inspection reports each week in Derwent Living properties. We carry out the servicing and maintenance to over 200 door entry systems of varying makes and models including a number of videx systems.

Our company is also in charge of issuing and programming new fobs to the client.

A maintenance programme is provided to the client and log books are filled out on site.

  • The tenants are informed by letter of the forthcoming works and appointments are made.
  • Once the works, are complete the tenant is given a tenant satisfaction form to fill out and hand back to our operative or post back in free post envelope.
  • Test certificates and reports are handed over the client weekly, PDF formats of the test certificates are also provided to the client.
  • With regards to no access, we issue a calling card which has the following contract details on, our company name and phone number, the time and date we called and our free phone number.
  • The access card comes in a carbon copy book, so the card is posted through the door and a carbon copy returned to the office. If the tenant does not contact us, ourtenant liaison officer will then contact the tenants by phone, letter and site visit. If we still have no access we will report this back to the client.

As tenant satisfaction and customer care are important aspect of these contracts we
have a dedicated tenant liaison office for these contracts.

We write to tenants introducing the contract to start with and then if provided with contact numbers we would either contact the tenants on the phone to make am or pm appointments or we write to tenants to inform them of the appointments. We provide the tenants with our 24hr free phone help line number, so that they could contact us with any queries. We also provide a reminder txt message to tenants of their appointments.

Our operatives who carry out the works all wear company uniforms and carry identification and drive sign written vans, thus to help the tenants identify who we are.

We also provide language identification cards in letters and also provide translation services if required.
